GLEN HAVEN, MI -- A Traverse City photographer's timelapse video offers a glimpse of the northern lights for those who missed the Monday night show.

Heather Higham's 30-second video shot at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore opens with dark storm clouds moving across a sky with hues of blue, purple and green. The video continues with the moonset and ends with colorful lights dancing over the water.

Very cool Hawg, thanks!Used to be able to see the northern lights quite often when I was living in on the south shore of the big lake in Wisconsin but not so much in the LP of Michigan so this was kinda rare.
