I am a terrible joke teller and dot remember exactly how it went but, here goes my best try.

A local reporter heard a story about a pig saving a family from a fire and went to get the story. He sat down with the farmer who told him how the pig made his way into the house while the family was sleeping. The pig woke everyone in time to get out safely and even save the house. After a harrowing story, he realized the farmer hadn't Said how the pig lost is back leg. He told the farmer that he just had to know how the pig lost his leg in the fire. The farmer sat back and said he didn't lose it in the fire but you just can't eat a prize pig like that all at one time.

He'll be upwards of 400lbs. We've kept him longer than we have any others as well. We were too busy last spring, while it was still cool enough to butcher him. Plus, we didn't casterate him until May.

We do it all the old fashioned way. Boiling the water in the antique cast iron cauldrons, placing the hot burlap sack on the skin for easier hair removal. Scraping the hair off, butchering, and rendering the fat for lard.
Hopefully, this will keep away any Muslime Terrorists....;)
