Hello new OTP members and a few old friends,

I live in NE Texas and am an active poster with over 2000 posts over at PF. I have been here a quite a while also, just listening in. I know many of you here from elsewhere already. I also listened in at PF a couple years before speaking up there also. Hawg sent me a pm today and told me to quit lurking here and step out of the woods..... so here I am. I like to know who my friends are before I hang myself, just cautious by nature.

My qualifications are, but not necessarily in any order:
Hurling dry humor for my own enjoyment. I call it self medication.
I have been taken to the principals office over at PF before, and had a sit down talk.
I'm a watchman, I'm aware and despise those that choose to give up their rights and liberties and are content to step in their spot in line.
I prepare for most potentials and stand ready and able.

I believe a necessary survival skill is being able to spot idiots, bullshit, horseshit, dumbasses, and chicken shits. Perhaps my real talent is being able to distinguish accurately between all of them.

I hope to enjoy my time here, learn and contribute.

I was Inor and fred.garvin at PF before I got bounced for life. (In all fairness, I asked Denton to bounce fred.garvin.) I am as obnoxious here as I was there but for some reason they keep me around anyway.

A Watchman Good glad you made it. By your decription you will enjoy the place. Most of us are like minded. We do occasionally throw beer bottles at each other but normally its for fun and a handshake will follow. Pretty laid back for the most part. I like the liberal idea of a liberal punching bag.......say 1 a week, if they last that long. We should be bored by week's end with a new one weekly anyway. Maybe someone (under false pretenses of course) could lure New JerseyJones over here for starters. He's such an idiot that I am not sure he realizes he is getting slapped around.
