Nature is always a great source of nourishment. You won’t be able to use it, though, unless you learn how. Keep in mind that wild animals survive even through the harshest winters because they know where, when, and how to search for food as well as what to search for. Most of their food is not only appropriate for human consumption but also a great source of vitamins and minerals. So what should you forage for in winter?

^^ obviously not a survivalist ^^

While I'm a big fan of whiskey I would never carry it in the field. Moonshine is WAY better. It can serve as medical, fuel for a burner or just plain getting drunk. Whiskey only serves as 2 outta the 3. Just sayin.

Whiskey on the rocks is not a bad thing. We've heard the saying whiskey and water....

Some whiskeys a slight melt of the ice is a perfect complement to the spirits as it can open up the flavor.

And some are best sipped clean.

I too was like Ark no water no ice. But then I became more refined like a finely aged piece of cheese. As I experimented with Scotch and some Irish whiskeys the Ice was a perfect complement to some booze.
