From time to time I see an animal on my game cameras that I cannot positively Identify. 90% of the animals that we see are White Tail Deer, Raccoons, Squirrels, Fox and the occasional Coyote or Bobcat. When we see something that we can't quite figure out me and Mrs Slippy sit around discussing the various species that we "think we see".
So, today I downloaded this pic...what do you geniuses think this animal is? (I tried to magnify the photo a bit) :help:

I'll guess porcupine with the flat body or that looks like you have water flowing through there maybe a beaver

Badger
I am guessing a big old coon just based on the ring around the eyes.

I'm going with a groundhog
I was thinking that too at first but haven't seen those out at night before.
That's what got me on the flat body shape though

Beavers are plentiful and I'm sure raccoons are everywhere as well. Regardless, I've seen this particular buck quite a bit and for some reason he cracks me up with his 1/2 rack.

Jeez Slippy. Pretty low to pick on the handicapped!
BTW, what is the box looking thing leaning against the tree?
It could be a chupacabra.

BL,
I can't help but think that the deers were all sitting around shooting the shit, drinking some beer and this deer with the busted up rack say's, "Hey, hold my beer and watch this." :redneck:
The thing against the tree is a plastic corrugated landscape pipe screwed into the tree. Pour some corn into it and it becomes an redneck gravity fed deer feeder!
