My Dad mad a similar concoction for me when I came down with Chickenpox. I was running a high fever so he mixed something like this up and heated it on the stove. I was a Jack and Coke guy for decades plust keep drinkiing cokes when I swore off the Jack for a while. Made my feet swell up..too much salt the doc said. Sugar isnt cokes biggest drawback according to him. I aint had another in a long time. Beer and shooters in moderation on my once or twice a week trips to the old folks pool hall/bar combo. Two buck Tuesday is special. At home I tend to toward shooters and wine coolers using my super healthy Ginger/Raspgberry Ginger Champagne and cheap wine combo. For shooters I have developed a taste for some surprisingly smooth real cheap bourbon? called Kentucky Gentleman. Its the same price as Kentucky Deluxe and goes down easier.

My deceased wife came home from shopping to find me and my neighbor out front of my house with a chainsaw, rope, climbing lanyard, beer in our hands, and a cooler at our feet. We were both looking up at this huge pine tree that had pine Beatles. She pulls up, rolls the window down and said I don't like the looks of this. She asked what were we planning and I told her. She asked why we need the beer. I said we have to think on it first. She asked how long we have been thinking, I tell her about an hour or so. She puts the car in reverse, says she is going back out to shop, she didn't want to be there when the police and the ambulance showed up.

Funny, we decided after a few more beers not to top it but to bring it down in the Cul de sac. By the time we were ready with the rigging and getting ready to cut we had half the neighborhood watching. Some actually brought out their lawn chairs and coolers. I think there were bets on which one of us two was going to get killed or weather or not the tree falls on my house. We dropped that pine right were we planned. I figure it was them thinking beers that did it.

There was a "Booze Share" table where the guests brought various liquors and just set them on a table that people could just go and sample at their leisure.

I'm not sure about the Sam's club vodka but my wife loves the Costco name brand. She says it's as good as Grey Goose and says she can't tell the difference. She always gets me the Costco "Jameson" knock-off. I can tell the difference. It's not bad but not the same.

I don't get a stomach or headache the next day . Usually that is, if consumed within reason. I put 3 quarts down @ 1 oz per cup last night with no ill effects

Me and Mrs Slippy have been at an RV park in the North GA mountains the last couple of nights. Went to a liquor store and the attendant was clearly middle eastern.

He suprised the crap out of me when he wished me a Merry Christmas as I paid for Tequila (for me) and High Noon Vodka drinks (for Mrs Slippy)!
