Cold, windy and wet here at Slippy Lodge today. Dreary.

So, cracked open a nice bottle of 1800 Tequila Reposado. Sipping it nicely as I look over our 2024 Tax Forms, preparing them for my annual screwing from .gov

Cheers!

PS Taxation is Theft.

Screw taxes! Make the fuckers wait! That's my motto. I ALWAYS do an extension. Yes, I get nicked for a penalty every year, but I make more using MY money over the summer than what I have to pay in penalties. Plus, I HATE the government, and keeping MY money in MY bank account as long as I possibly can makes me feel good. Those looter pricks can go suck an egg as far as I am concerned!

My sentiments exactly, make the bastards wait.

Actually its legal to claim as many dependents as you want all year long. The Gov then doesn't take as much out of your check each week. You do need to be truthful at tax time. Why let the Feds use your money all year and not get a single penny of interest in return!!! Its basically a 0-zero interest loan for the Feds. When I was working, I did this for years, just need to put some $$ aside in any interest bearing account to pay your taxes. Really a painless and satisfying way to do my small part in putting the screws back to the Feds.

The local towel head BP gas station has Members Mark and Kirkland Vodka which I haven't tried since it's a dollar more.

I don't get a stomach or headache the next day . Usually that is, if consumed within reason. I put 3 quarts down @ 1 oz per cup last night with no ill effects

Holy distillery Batman.
That 64 bar shots (1.5 oz) in 3 quarts in one night !
If you woke up with a hole in your right side, it’s where your liver made a jail break.

I keep a watch on the time between, one shot an hour for me. You never know when you'll need full control of your faculties.

Didn't John Bonham die after drinking 40 shots of vodka in 12 hours?

RIP Bonzo, arguably the greatest drummer ever.
He asphyxiated on his own vomit after pounding vodka shots all morning then laying down to sleep it off.
The exact number of shots, I don’t recall but as a long time Zeppelin fan I was gut punched when I heard the news announcement on 96 Rock.

That’s sounds about right.
I was on my way to work sitting at a traffic light when his death was announced on 96 Rock out of Atlanta.
Zeppelin was going to tour America that year for “In through the out door”. I was dumbfounded at the news.
