I have been shooting RF and CF benchrest for years. I recently purchased a Rem 581, highly customized, and was interested in replacing the original trigger with a Timney 788 trigger. I DL'd the pics and "instructions" and will be undertaking this adventure soon. I will be doing this with a customized 580 soon. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am sure you are going to love the new trigger. I put a Geissele in my AR and HOLY COW. Mine is a two-stage. 2.5 lbs, and then 1.0 lb. About the best way to describe it is "it's like shit through a goose".
