I'll go there when I am forced to, . . . until then, I like my flush toilet, shower, electric lights, and thermostat.

I've not quite lived in that squalor, . . . really have no desire to try it either.

May God bless,
Dwight

Didn't look bad to me.. Simple life is the clean life. He washes his clothes in the creek so whats to stink and who cares? Hes a hermit.....

Best years of my life were in a 12 ft tour-a-home camper made in Flint Mi. had that thing on 10 acres on the big lakes south shore.
artesian well down the road flowed strong 24/7 all year long.

Does he own the ground he's on, or what? I'd be pissed if somebody tore-up my place like that.

If he wants to buy some land and live like that, more power to him. But he is squatting on somebody else's property. Boot 'em.

I have no problem with it. If it was my land I'd charge him rent or run him off. If it's public owned land I don't give a shit. I think the whole problem is not what the government folks said "they worried about the environmental impact" what they're worried about is a no tax paying feller. No way in hell a thousand folks gonna setup like that in one area. People like that already know that there's only so much room to live that way.

Good point. I do not know how much land the Limey government "owns". If it was government land here, I would think twice if it was federal government land vs state government land.

We have a homeless guy here in Bozeman that really, I think goes out of his way to be invisible to most of the public. He has built a small shelter, doesn't have a bunch of clutter, works for a mechanic, and pays to use the shower at the public pool. I have no problem with a guy like this
