It looks like the wood is super easy to split with this and since it is hand-operated there would be no fuel expense or motor repairs to make. Horváth Miklós shares a video showing how it is put together and demonstrates how it works.

Interesting.I saw something similar on the WX channel.some tv series there.these guys from Colorado build stuff (mostly junk) they built a wood splitter from a engine cherry picker and some other crap.their version did not work out too well.
