Ouch didn't look at the price... Can't say I'm surprised everything Henry is expensive.... are they modeling after Harley Davidson?

A decade ago, I bought a Henry 22LR lever rifle. Brand new out of the box it had a problem with the extractor. So, I called the phone number listed on the enclosed instruction book. Mr Imperato himself answered the phone. Think the president of General Motors would?
Anthony passed the call to the proper department, I explained my problem, they said "no problem, just send it in". I explained that I didn't really feel comfortable trusting my rifle to the mail, so head of the shop told me he would send the part, no charge, and gave me his personal phone number so he could walk me thru installation when it arrived.
That experience made me a CUSTOMER FOR LIFE.

On rimfirecentral forum, under Henry Rifles, you can ask questions of The Man himself.
I would love to work for a boss like him.

We knew a guy with a 10/22 take down cool in thought but still 2 times bigger then the Henry or Marlin takedown.

I cannot speak for the Henry 22's, but my .357 carbine was a real fussy eater until it got broke in (around 500-1000 rounds). Since then, I can feed it anything without a problem. But when it was new, it was a real bitch.

I would like to get a Golden Boy for my grandson. But I think I going to buy him a used one - partially for the money but mostly because I do not want his first shots from it to be such a pain to work the lever.

Just the AR-7 I heard wasnt all that and a bag of chips. I'll poke around tomorrow and se if I can find the sourc of the complaints.

Get this one, and you'll never go wrong.
Mine is a Youth Model, shorter barrel and shorter length-of-pull. I like it because it is fast handling. I'm 6' 3" and it fits me fine.

Good review from hickock but if I get a Henry it's gonna be the 44mag lever action. Been on my wishlist for a while now
