I'm sorry. But that phrase cracks me up. I started my biz on June 1st, 1997. I started it initially as a web application consulting organization. About 2 or 3 years into it (at the height of the dot-com bubble), I got told by a salesman that I was interviewing for a job, that my "burn rate" was just not high enough to make me a serious player. I am still working successfully in the same industry. I wonder what he is selling now to feed his family.
