You too can have one of these bad boys if you have a extra $500,000 laying around with nothing to spend it on.https://youtu.be/h-b0rm5emDM

I go to a lot of places that that rig would never get to. It looks like a pavement pounder, status symbol, one-up-manship vehicle.

1 wire short in a taillight and then any thing that uses electricity is dead from the start up to the engine to coffeepot with the milk steamer attachment
my mothers ford van don't move all because of a short in the wire system
don't matter with todays cars trucks or anything that runs on tons of electricity are all having the same issues from the $20,000 to the million dollar ones
I think be better to just try to revamp a truck with camper
sure wont look as pretty but it hell allot cheaper then 500k

Survival camper? Nah, that beaut would be a daily driver. I'd be knocking prius' off the road left and right. The freeway would look like a bowling alley.

Easy fix but very time consuming to find --
Ya-gotta un-plug "Every Thing" -- once you have power from the battery -- plug in one thing at a time --
Once the problem starts -- pull that fuse -- and keep going -- if no other shorts -- bingo --
Look for the obvious first -- any wire passing through metal should have a rubber or plastic grommet -- then any thing tapped -- open look for corrosion / fix and seal with dielectric grease & shrink wrap --

In the "a-pok-o-lips" it only needs one thing more --

Hows your new truck Sparky? I forget if it was a Canyon or a Colorado but I saw one the other day, a Z71 version and it sure looked good. Bigger than I remember them being. Got a review for us?
Thanks

Off The Grid Trailers: The Ultimate Portable Bug Out Shelters
We are starting a series on building the perfect bugout vehicle. During our research, I came across a number of commercial off-road solutions that I really liked. They range from barebones trailers to luxury traveling bunkers; while some are a bit excessive, and on the expensive side, they did help us come up with plans for our own bugout trailer.
These little trailers can help beef up your bugout plans; not only do they allow you to carry extra gear,

Bugging Out For DummiesYeah but we ain't talking bugging out to the KOA. Your certainly not going to drag a 30ft 5th wheeler into the woods.
I ran my early deer camps out of tents and popups for 10 to 12 days at a time. Its not that bad and certainly doable but there are no frills.

I am on the road for work right now, and plan on living in my pop-up for approximately 3 months.

Cool extended camping trip. It sure isnt like home but living in a pop up or a small camper can certainly be done.
Hell I lived in a 15 ft Tour a home made in flint camper on the south shore of lake Superior for a year. Right thru the winter. 15 foot but minus 2ft for the tongue. Thats 12 feet of living space. It had a ice block refrigerator in it and I used it. I could still get block ice in those days.

Unfortunately, no. I'm not a lineman. I maintain and upgrade power plants. We do, however, have lineman traveled toLA to help.
