Chinese canning jar lids info

Just seen Empire canning jar lids in a large Home Improvement store. They are made in China. They have been discontinued at my closest store but wanted others to know they're out there. I won't use China made canning products. Don't know the quality but since there made it China I won't be using any even to save a few cents.

Other than the lids that come with a case of Ball or Kerr jars, we do not use any 3rd party canning lids except Tattler. Yes, they are expensive. But they are reusable. And if SHTF, I really do not want to trust our lives to some cheap Chinese shit.
