Nationwide nuclear drill in Russia

Russia is running a 4 day drill to prepare it's citizens to be ready for evacuation in case somebody drops a big one on them.

"Our priority during the drill is to train evacuation of the civilian population from potentially-risky areas,” Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov, who oversees all civil defense in Russia, told Interfax.

40 million people are involved this year.

Pretty smart IMHO. They want to protect their citizens. Our leaders only want to protect themselves.
