Good evening folks,

Just wanted to stop in and introduce my self a little; Baglady told me about the site, said it would be more of a fit to my personality. From the looks of things I would say she is right. I have only gotten a few minutes here and there to have a look around but this site has it all, well at least it has all that matters to me. LOL

I am currently living Europe, my home office is in Luxembourg, Fall & Winter house is in Germany and Spring & Summer house is in Italy. My work keeps me travelling a great deal and normally when I am not working I am travelling some where to hunt, fish, prospect a new site or go metal detecting.

Not sure how much longer I will be here in Europe, my wife and I are still considering moving to the States, we where just waiting for the election process to be over with and make sure we got the Right Man for the job. Now that it is over we will wait to make sure he actually gets to make it into Office, sorry I do not trust the Democrats or those PC Folks.

We do own property in the States currently, I have my family ranch in Junction Texas, plus some other properties throughout south Texas, my wife owns a few houses in Florida. Still not sure really what direction we will go, that will depend on if I am looking for employment or just hang it all up after 32 years. We will see then, but we have talked about just driving around.

I have four kids, 13, 9, 3 and 1. My wife and I started sort of later in life, married for many years and retired out of the Army before we started a family. Seemed to work so far. My kids have not yet seen the States, yes I know shame on me, but in my Defence I was sort of busy a great deal when we had Bush, then Obama came in and I sure as heck was not going take my kids to the US with him in Office. Personal Choice.

Things I really enjoy are Hunting, Trapping, Fishing, Expedition Kayaking, Expedition Cycling, Camping, Climbing, Running, Swimming, Gardening, Canning, Bottling, Smoking just about anything you can eat, Harvest wild foods like berries and mushrooms. I tend to do a great deal of hunting in Romania, Italy, Austria, Sweden, Norway or really any place I think I can get some game worth eating.

I do not have a favorite game I like to eat, it all taste great when you know how to prepare your meats, but my favorite game to hunt is Reindeer. I also do some trapping & tanning but mostly it is for the meat and small game only, nothing really worth tanning.

BTW, I spent a lot of my career in Bavaria. Great place to visit, but if I were to live there, I am sure I would be pulling my hair out (what's left of it) over their left-wing politics. Also, to this day, I can never figure out why Germany pissed it all away with the EU and also ditching their beloved Deutsche Mark. They had nothing to gain, except to be the sugar daddy for all the other socialist countries. I could have told them right from the git-go it was all doomed to failure.

Well I guess Germany and France both just like being in competition as to whom can cry the most and con the most cash out of the EU; sort of backfired on them though.

Deutsche Bank screwed up major in Germany when they listened to Hilary Clinton about the FATCA, they where the only ones in Germany supporting that crap. Then before Germany accepted the stupid law DB screwed up and banned all Americans from having accounts there, forcing many to close their accounts. Then some of us filed law suits against DB, I settled out of court my self, I am not hurting for money and do not have ideas of being extremely wealthy, so I was content with the four million and watching 3 people go to jail.

Now look where Liberal Germany is without their Hilary Clinton who promised them the world.

I do not really see much of the Left Wing politics due to my job. At times someone attempts to step out of line, but I make sure that I give them another reason to hate them selves more for not being more like us.

Odd place though, worked in 64 countries and Germany is the only one I know of where the poor are content with getting screwed and being more poor each passing month.

Yeah I saw that banned thing and was wondering how folks here where banned and yet posting.

Other PC Places, you mean like the other place, where I was banned. Well it happens, some folks just want to be comforted and told good job, not me, I like knowing when I am wrong and like making people aware when their Libtardedness is becoming overwhelming. Its like really, maybe that crap flies at church where tolerance levels are higher but try it at your local feed store. Oh well we can not all be perfect, we just need to be patient and wait for them to OD on their social meds of the month.

By the way, looked at that canning page. That is great stuff there, I will go through it all before I share, I do not want to post something that has already been. But I do not see very much of anything on canned meats.

Still looking for a thread on growing your own chew, my crop of tobacco this year was not so good, I only got about 12 pounds of chew out of it all. Grew this year in Italy, so it looks like I am going to be buying some Redman, hate that, Redman is like 13 bucks a bag right now over here, and with all the BS at our agency I am sure am not cutting down. LOL

Hubby and I can venison stew and chicken. Several on here do, and make jerky too.
Deebo has his own recipes for jerky, and several of us have tried it. Good stuff!

I don't think I've seen any tobacco growers, maybe Hag does. I wanted to try it myself, but can't get over the idea of having to "hand squish" those juicy tobacco worms! :shocked:

Mrs Inor cans meats, mostly cheap steak cut into cubes and beef stew. I think it is pretty easy to do. I cannot say first-hand since she is the one doing the "work". But most of the time when she is doing it, she is sitting there reading a novel.

Once we get our "forever" home built, I am planning on growing some 'baccy and also some coffee trees. These guys have some pretty good info on how to grow it and also how to process it and roll stoogies:

You know with our newly elected Communist for a President here at the agency I would guess that you are right. Agents have been resigning and applying for early retirement around here like mad. So far we have lost 71 agents and Field Ops since they they slipped that BS on us.

My boss called me the day it happened, said he had just found out and wanted to let me know before I found out through other sources. For now I am not too worried as it is just a symbolic role in the agency, but I did let my boss know that I would not be coming to the home office if he is there because I would go on and throw his protection detail off the roof.

Its been too crazy around here, I applied for the slot in Oslo and also checked my time in service for retirement plus injuries occurred on task. I am at 75%, we only need to have 65% to keep out tax free status for life. So if I do not get Oslo, then chances are I am going to retire. I would miss it though, but if I get Oslo and then the Commi takes new Proactive role just like the NAZIs did when they took over the agency I would retire anyway.

Oslo is a very lax posting, but we own a claim up there that produces some good gold and we have not worked it in two years. Also good fishing, good hunting, just good everything. Even their new policy on asylum seekers, they can apply, then after a month they are denied and banned from applying again for ten years and sent home. They also have a very nice lack of weapon laws and cans are crazy cheap there, so cheap you will put a can on every weapon you own and buying cans for ones you may own one day as well.

But I do miss the States, well at least the States I knew the last time I was there back in 2001. Wanted to come back sooner but Obama was President, did not see much sense in coming back to a nation that did not have a rightful President. Not sure what is worse, Obama as Pres or the new agency Commi as Pres.
