only issue they forgot to say is that some zip ties have plastic side that can be sharp enough at a right angle to do a deep scratch and if you try to turn the wrist you can have that part on a vain which is still sharp enough to go into the skin and reach it.
also they forgot to mention why you want to not go to high on the thigh, if you do you end up with a thigh that is hurting and trying to run away would be harder.
and don't forget it also has a chance of hurting the wrist as well, a hard chance but a small chance is still a chance and holding a grip would also harder.
this is all small chances but so is winning the mega million lottery but people do win.
this is great information but they should remind people to practice it every few months or something to lower a chance and also with someone with you just incase

only reason I know about that edges is my stupid ass tried it long time ago and left a nice scratch mark which was deep enough where a band aid was not going to work and end up scotch taping it and it still show after 14-15 years later and if someone is even dumber then me and we have people who that stupid for some reason have the under belly of the wrist face out likely towards themselves likely trying to twist as they comedown.
its a lotto and people do win at times.
sorry I'm in a ranting mood today
that being said I'm off to my kiddie pool of shame

Keep in mind these are zip-ties and not flex cuffs.

Zip-ties can be snapped with force and twisting, they are not designed for restraining.

More women in this country should start to learn how to do this in case they ever find themselves in a combat zone and are captured by the enemy and restrained with zip ties

Unfortunately the police are using double zip ties. I doubt that this technique would work to defeat them.

It doesn't, at least when I tried.
