OK, if you have a garden, you probably wish you had a rototiller, many of you do, but to survive you probably need heavy equipment at your BOL or BIL.
Used equipment is all over the place, some are way overpriced, some are way underpriced.
Things to look for... Does it run, does it smoke, do the hydraulics work, is the rubber good (a big tractor tire will run $500), make the owner demonstrate the operation, I say this because the first piece of heavy equipment I bought was a Case 580B Backhoe, there is a secret to how you put the hoe into the stow position, it took me about a year to figure out there was a secret to it, I paid $5,500 for it.
Here is the toy that I just used to pull down the tree, it had about 2,000 hours on it (which is low), and just needs a new pin/bushing on the blade, it cost me $4,500, I bought it over where @Inor is building his new house, which is a farming valley, stuff comes up for sale all the time over there.

Starts right up, runs good, well worth $4,500, I've seen them in Equipment Trader for $25,000+.
