Bushnell 4x21mag 10 to 600 yrds

So with some credit card points I ordered this Bushnell bone collector range finder for free been wanting one for quite some time but other toy purchases to priority.
So getting this for free was the time to jump looking forward to giving a review on it.

it uses a 9v battery or I would have already tried it out but 9v is the only damn battery I don't have today.
It is very light weight feels fragile so will try hard not to be a clutz and drop it.
I has a thin padded nylon case with a belt loop case is ok as it will be in my backpack or shelf in my blind most of time the belt loop is cheaply stiched an will not trust it.

I have a bushy sport 450 that's + or - a yard at a 100 . Close enough for me and my shooting.

Yeah I was wondering how accurate they are.

the 450 doesn't always know the difference from a brown hide from a tree bark
It works out to 450 if you're sighting on red or orange

The 450 is at least 6 years old, I'm sure Ducks is a better unit.
It's still using the original battery, even though it lives in the pole barn , in a mostly unheated environment, depending where I drop it off.

I would wrap some orange/pink ribbons around tree or stakes at probable shooting areas and record them on a map, then laminate it, for wet weather use.

Make a map for each stand, leave map in stand for use, so you don't forget to bring it out

I would forget my 450 half of the time, those times are usually when the game came out to play.

Picking up a battery on my way home today I rhe distances in my yard so i will compare it there first today is going to be misting an rain so will see how that works as well.

there several locations I have wanted to know exact distance but always to lazy or drunk to step it out

edit side note with dry hands it is very slippery I wish it was a rubber texture or had grip tape.

Duck, I was just going to ask if it was rubber armored. Maybe a dunk in a $100 can of "Flex-Seal"? LOL
