You want the email notifications ? or you don't ?

Go to settings then to my subscriptions then over on the bottom right(selected threads) and make the changes.

You have the "Default Thread Subscription Mode:" set to "Instant Email Location" so it should be working.

Maybe check it on then off again?

You can turn the notifications on/off under your user settings. You'll get a message in your OTP inbox.

I'm not sure if the root cause was ever fixed.

if it is anything wrong it will be at his end due to all that strange shit he downloads

Rice is the only one who has ever mentioned it to me. I've never used it and dont know why anyone would really.... but thats just me I dont want anything come to my email.

I know subscribed threads works with tapatalk.

When an email server IP gets blacklisted by your email provider it won't even end up in your spam folder, even if you add that address to the address book. I went thru this before with our older server service as they blocked all outgoing emails for a period as there were "too many auto generated emails".


Please post who is having the problem and what email service you are using.

More info for you if it helps with the problem. I globally set email notifications to be received instantly. Checked my spam folder and no emails from here were in it. I initially used a gmail account and only switched to the aol mail account after it was mentioned that the email provider might be the problem.

Log in -- see theres a notification - open it -- see I was quoted -- click that - see who quoted me - click that -- ( here's the annoying part ) - it doesn't take you/me to were the quote is -- it goes right to the first page of the thread --- if there was any posts after the quote -- ya-gotta fish back looking for it -----
