Here’s a simple and easy way to remove a tick if you don’t have a tweezers handy, but you do have a loose thread from your clothing.

That's interesting. The other day a co-worker and I were discussing what the Public Health department here recommends when removing ticks. They give out these nifty little tool things that you can never find when you need them. Funny ticks seem to the topic of the day.

Don't need a fancy tool for removing ticks. A pair of tweezers works fine.

Sometimes tweezer wont work on dogs,we bought and keep a couple of these handy.

That's exactly what the Health Dept gives out, except that looks like better quality.

They make metal ones too.looks kinda like an old church key?.called a tick spoon.you can make one with an old metal spoon,or,plastic.
