I got away from horses, I've had one Appaloosa and five Tennessee walkers, I do miss it very much.

Dude I'm sorry to hear that, had to be a tough decision, will it ever heal? I guess if it would you'd never have sold.

I use to, but now I'm thinking one of those slingshots would be pretty fun. laying back low to the ground, like a bike/indycar combo. $25,000 for used ones is too rich for me.

I love the look of the newer Sportsters, my first Harley was a 1999 Sportster Custom, What a difference a gas tank can make.

Blew out some discs and permently trashed some nerves. May ride again someday but no more HD softails for me. Maybe a Ultra Glide at some point?

It is a bike you could easily get the Iron butt award with. Comfort and agility with style That pic is from a trip last year to West Virginia
it is all posted here somewhere
Lots of great pics we visited the Hatfield and McCoy's cemeteries
and the Hank williams last stop where he was pronounced dead.
1500 miles in 3 days and was ready to keep going.

Had a quarter horse Named Brandy....but sold her...Then married a woman named Brandy....Told her the main difference between her and my horse was that my horse let me ride her every once in awhile....

She did not laugh......at all....

guess I shouldn't have branded her ass on our honey moon.

You should put a tom thumb bit on that bridle, with a tie down. She'll be your little love puppet.

Rode untold tens of thousands of miles when younger (Lambretta scooter at 15, then a Honda 160, and later a Suzuki 500) -- but then raised a family.

Picked up riding again when I bought my Goldwing new in 1999. On the Wing, I have been to every state in CONUS (including Alaska) except for Florida. Not sure why I have not gotten down there. I've also ridden in 6 Provinces in Canada.

Note: disregard Hawaii -- I rode there but not on my Wing.

Used to ride about 20,000 miles per year. Not anywhere near that now, but I have logged some 140,000 miles on it.
