Tesla just released a calculator for their roof panels. It included their PowerWall battery pack, but even with that it looks cheaper than other solutions in the past.

I have not read up on them too much, but I'm curious. The last time I looked into solar for my region it was pushing $100k+ (solar panels & battery bank) and this is coming in around $50k, so there is a significant price difference. I'm going to watch them, and would like to get two or three to play with.
