This popped up on my Facebook feed this morning. It says there will be a kickstarter campaign soon but doesn't show what the pricing will be.

I've been considering a deer cart for last resort on-foot bugout but this things got potential if it turns out to be affordable.

That is a interesting idea.
I bet it will be priced out of the average persons range like most cool stuff is these days

All you need is a tactical wheelbarrow. Just ask gun kid.

I kinda like it -- then I think - I don't want 100 lbs. of crap strapped to me going through nig-ville -- day or night ?

I should finish the cart I have been building. Anyway, I took a fairly typical two wheeled game cart, an ALICE pack frame, a set of MOLLE shoulder and waist strap installed on said frame, and paracord to tie the top rail of tge cart to the bottom rail of the of the ALICE frame. I laid the ALICE frame face down in front of the top rail of tge game cart which was also set on the ground. I clamped a piece of 4x4 on each end as spacers between the two frames. I tied four pieces of 550 cord on each side of the center bar of the ALICE frame which would run vertical as worn. My ex wife who was all of about 110 pounds could easily pull me across my flat yard, and I weigh about 190 pounds. I am also 5'11", and that fit me very well with a decent angle to the cart. I have to mount a couple handles to the game cart and get some good rope for a 3 to 1 system for going up/down steep terrain. Long story short, I wear tge ALICE pack frame with confortable MOLLE straps, and the game cart pulls behind me dangling from the bottom the ALICE pack. If you put heavier items closer to the ground, they literally feel weightless.

Load the heaviest items towards the bottom of the cart, and it will be super easy to drag.

Bug out wise -- I'm big on nothing reflective --

Flat or matte black paint / zero chrome anyplace / tint film on all lights ( head - tail - side markers ) - even lite smoke tint on all the glass ( on the outside & sealed edges ) --

Why -- once in the weeds on a trail just for shits & giggles - I turned off all my floods - full moon lit night -- I went around a turn and a voice came out of the woods -- "Hello" --

The guy was stopped 3' off the trail -- I didnt see him till I heard him --

Reflective is bad all the way around when you want to get lost. Reflective makes it easier to spot by producing glare in the from the sun or flashlights at night. I had a post awhile back about keeping the toe section of panty hose for over my bug out bag monocular, and some guys here laughed at it. I do not want sun glare giving away my position.

Look what the tooth fairy gave me this morning. A bug out cart! 3770

I had to rest it on my dog house to get a picture of it. The dog house sits about five inches higher than my waist meaning my cart will have the top angled down more when I wear it. I need four U- bolts to keep the para cord from sliding around the top of the cart and need to bolt two pieces of strong tubing to the top of the cart as control handles. I forgot to mention I ran the paracord through a slit on each of the ALICE to keep it from wandering all over that frame when moving. I also have to admit it does not look pretty, but it works.

I is adds a hitch so you can tow it .

Do me a personal favor just to prove a point -- take a pic with your cell volume buttons facing down & see if the pic isn't sideways ?

P/S -- is there a quick release in case you need to hot foot-it ?

The forums attachment feature turns some folks pictures sideways. Nobody knows why. Its just one of those things we will have to live with.... for now.

I use my deer cart and otter sled to haul gear, the sled fits perfect in the cart, bungee strap it in and it will also float.

Seems to depend on what they post it from.. PC, tablet, phone. Browser may have something to do with it too. Some folks use it and the pics are not sideways so go figure. Try this-

The thing I built was super simple. I just got the ALICE frame and the MOLLE 2 shoulder and waist straps for the ALICE frame. I will literally wear the ALICE frame like a back pack, and the cart will pull behind me. When I put the MOLLE 2 shoulder and waist strap on the frame it does not look like much as those straps were not designed for the actual ALICE frame. Long story short, I can take it off quick if I had to. It is the same process as removing a USGI MOLLE pack. I used 4x4's as a spacers so that I could tension all 8 pieces of 550 cord to the same tension. I can pack whatever I want on it. Heavier stuff better on the bottom. I still need the handles (bolt on heavy duty conduit) and four U-bolts to go around the cart frame (to keep the paracord from sliding all over the place. My game cart can only handle a couple hundred pounds, and the use of paracord really seemed like a good fit.

There are directions for installing the MOLLE straps onto an ALICE pack if you would like to build one of these. You can do an Internet for search ALICE hellcat. There is a liberty tree blog that comes up. That guy has directions with pictures (rotated the right way) on to install those straps onto an ALICE frame. I opted for those straps as they are infinitely more comfortable than the standard ALICE pack straps.

Hey Rice,

I tried posting a picture with my camera button upside down. I am actually using an IPad to take photos. It still rotated the image sideways......ugh

Not nesessary to open in paint. Phone pics can be rotated before attaching. But.... ive played that game and it a total pain in the ass. Refer back to the kitty picture.

I say that because the way I have to do it cause I'm to stooped to figure it out on my Droid -- every pic I post anyplace -- load it into the lap-top -- ( they all are right side up anyway ) -- reduce the size / day-month / number stamp - then post -- when I reduce the size when they're taken - they are to small to see --

1. Tie a chain to the 50# monitor, and use it as a boat anchor
2. Go to Best buy, or your local computer place, or online and pick up a 2# flat screen.
3. Turn monitor sideways :biglaugh:
