You have all seen this pot in my breakfast thread and have been very happy with it untill today.
I would say since I got this in July I have gave it some good use and getting it seasoned well.
But today while rinsing it out I noticed the enamel is chunking off the bottom of the pot and now rusting.
The only thing I can figure is when drying the pot it got hot and chipped but this should not be happening. I am writing Amazon to see what if anything they will do being how well I have used it.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171001/10f98ef227a8e4a74311be06645251ae.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171001/1ac929c3d47a07c85c30d8d627c110c2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171001/000225f66fb66c7b712e14ae4253aa78.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171001/daa12cf564c4bde40a6bb9532ada5aba.jpg

So 4 failed phone calls to Amazon three barely spoke English and did not understand whate I wad trying to say and the other flat out refused for 2 reasons
1 was passed allowed return
2 no longer in like new condition.

So I had also sent a email to GSI customer service and got this response today.

If I didn't already have a good pot, . . . I'd be likely to check GSI out.

May God bless,
Dwight

Just clean it, . . .

But I do not allow anyone to mess with the inside. It has a nice "patina" in there that I'm working on.

Them there soft Brillo pads take all the stuff off for me.

May God bless,
Dwight

Actually it has not been "out" this year, . . . been used, . . . just not "out".

Will take care of that little item on the 21st, . . . doing a bit of an outdoor cooking exhibition at church, . . . our annual fall fest, . . . coffee and biscuits are on the menu for sure already, . . . but don't know for sure what else.

Probably some sparklin taters, . . . chili, . . . and just maybe some cinnamon apple chimichangas, . . .

May God bless,
Dwight
