I haven't, I just joined a day ago and it hasn't been going well, been wrapped up trying to smooth that over.

I've never smoked anything, but I wanted to try but someone stole my grill off my back deck and I've been stuck using a "smokey joe". Though I've read that you can turn it in to a mini smoker with a large stainless pot and a drill.

The salt will draw some of the moisture out.
Then, like my bro duck said, let it sit on counter for an hour or so. Then grill the shit out of it.
I usually eat some of my steak standing at the grill. I hate going in, making a plate, then sit down to warm steak.
Try blackened recipes.

That would probably help keep the middle rare while the outside got a good sear since I can't get a hot enough cooking surface. I've heard that steak houses have unbelievably hot grills. Like 1000 degrees.

I use a Cast Iron Skillet on the Grill to get a Heavy Char and Medium Rare Temperature on a thick Ribeye. 4/5 Minutes per side at 500 degrees and a 2"" Thick Ribeye usually works.

Building the house for the last 6 months, every joint and muscle in body screams at me. I have found doubling up on multi-vitamins on the days when I am working on the house, along with a high protein and high carb diet (a lot of steak and pasta) helps. But even with that, laying 1400 sq feet of ceramic tile damn near killed me.

Keep a brown paper bag beside your bed, and breath in and out of the bag. I used to get a "knot of muscle" that would protrude from my calf muscle. And, would wake me up screaming and tip toeing to the bathroom to put hot water on it. Like stated above, bananas and more salt. There is even a frozen "pickle flavored" popsicle that helps. I had some positive results with quinine, but that was years ago, and I think its real hard to find now.

I've been on a ketogenic diet for about 3 months now. It's essentially no sugar, grains or starchy veggies. It depleats a lot of salts and I get cramps a lot. I'm down 35 lbs though. I might see if I can get potassium supplements because bananas are on my can't eat list.

I'm able to ditch the cane now, but I got a serious limp still. Muscle is totally tender just to touch, it really ****ed me up.
