Cold Proof mechanical lubricating spray recommendations

Anyone have any recommendations for a good quality lubricating spray that works well in the winter?? Our side by side throttle cable or accelerator petal stuck last weekend in this extra cold weather were having.

I would suggest PB blast lube spray or a brand name chain lube I have used both on my snowblower cables and chain with no hangups

Thanks guys. I already has PB Blaster so I'm trying it first. I already sprayed the cables and everything is working fine now. I'm not taking it out right now to see how it does in the extreme cold. We have a 3 below wind chill right now the closest I'm going out is the garage for now.

In industrial environments, we use a product called "Kroil". It's "the oil that kreeps". I'm not sure where the general public could buy it, but it is truly awesome stuff. I've started using it exclusively on my firearms, as well as other projects.

I'm not sure if you could get it down into a cable, but Graphite (a dry lubricant)is what we use in extreme cold weather. Can be purchased at Lowe's or Home Depot.

    I use Boeshield T-9.

I started buying it to lubricate the top of my table saw because once it dries, it does not mark the wood. But have since started using it on everything that I used to use WD-40 for. It is awesome stuff.
