In Oregon ANYONE can call in and have your firearms removed from your home. One of my shooting buddies had it happen to him. The only firearms he has right now are the ones he left at my house.

Wow wow wow! Imagine if a guy is a bit unhinged, not to the point where he wants to kill people but angry about whatever. Now someone tattles on him and the cops get their restraining order and come in tactical gear to take his guns. This is a dangerous piece of legislation for everyone involved.

Of course, maybe that is how they want it. First guy that fights back against this and they can say "See, civilians can't be trusted with guns. We need to disarm the public".
"That guy has the right idea, he wore the brown pants today!"

Funny, how all Congressmen can find a way to come together when they are screwing the people over. I am so appreciative they can find that common ground.

Imagine you have estranged/disgruntled family who knows you have firearms and just wants to see you hurt and/or create drama?

I unfortunately have a few family members like that.

Of course, maybe that is how they want it. First guy that fights back against this and they can say "See, civilians can't be trusted with guns. We need to disarm the public".
That might depend on who they try to confiscate from first, and what the body count is. There are some dangerous people out there.
"Every person’s life is theirs by right. An individual’s life can and must belong only to himself, not to any society or community, or he is then but a slave. No one can deny another person their right to their life, nor seize by force what is produced by someone else, because that is stealing their means to sustain their life. It is treason against mankind to hold a knife to a man’s throat and dictate how he must live his life."
