    Several of the old time cops-turned-gun writers, such as Skeeter Sheldon, were of the opinion the Model 19 with a 3" barrel was the ultimate fighting handgun.

    I don't know about the chopped off frame on the new 3" though. I wonder what they would think about that?

    Love some wheel guns, need to check this out. Been out of the loop for a bit but things are settling down now. The SW model 36 was my first love when it came to snubs......and I keep collecting them. Kinda like my Mosin 38's and 91/59's, never to many and always room for one more......
