Matching set of WWII GI vehicles for sale, just add M1s (PHOTOS)

f you have a space in your driveway for a matching set of 1943 military vehicles, we know a guy. (Photos: Hyman Classic Cars)

A classic car broker wants to make a deal on a 3/4-ton four-wheel-drive workhorse and its companion Harley, both with a pedigree from The Greatest Generation.

Hyman Classic Cars in St. Louis, Missouri is advertising a package deal that includes an immaculate Dodge WC51 truck pulling a Harley-Davidson WL motorcycle behind it.

truck will look very well anyone driveway, as long its not rusted up
not a big fan of bikes but I do love that truck
there is a trailer but I cant recall the name of it but was pretty much a kitchen on wheels and storage that was used during ww2
I would love to have that for camping, it will stand out at camp grounds and make anyone who loves military history drool

We used the early 3/4 ton trucks just like that above in Vietnam.
Stateside we had Jeep brand 5/4 tons, which was basically their Comanche pickup, but they just couldn't hold up to combat conditions. So they stayed stateside.

I've still got my US Army driver's license somewhere, I'm qualified for Jeeps through Deuce and a Halfs, including ambulances.

I'd love to have that truck. The bike and trailer, not so much.
Put a layer of sandbags on the cab floor for land mines, and find a Vietnam era flack jacket to use as seat cushion/nut protector. When you're 18-19 it's better to take a hit in the chest than get your nuts blown off. Priorities.

Hawg, you would really enjoy Jay Leno's Garage on you tube.
He has videos that run 12 to 15 minutes on not only modern racing bikes, but classic bikes like Indians, WWI era Harley's, Vincent's.
Heck, I just watched one last night on his completely restore 1964 Triumph Bonneville.

Yeah, a 45 solo. I used to have a 2 car garage full of 45 parts and trike frames, rear ends and springers. Wish I had it all back NOW.
