Finally got my Tiger thread in the snail mail today this stuff looks like exactly what I needed. Its braided and waxed polyester. The diameter is .08 which should be perfect to fill the holes from my diamond hole chisels.

This stuff is hard to come by no local sales at all.

Got my ammo loops built a few days ago.

Must be tap everybody's else seems to be working not sure if other tap talk users are affected? Maybe their next update will fix the bug?

I've got to glue the ammo loop straps on the back side and put a rivet in on each end then I can sew them to the belt. The loops are a real snug fit looks like it will work good.

Glued up and rivets in. A little stain touch up and some another coat of leather balm with atom wax for the top coat finish and they are ready to mount to the belt.

My woman scored me a new 1 1/4" thick work surface last night. Price was right as in you pick up... sweet!

Obviously from somebody's kitchen counter top venture.

Tiger thread is good stuff but Maker's Leather Supply has some stuff that's just as good and a whole lot cheaper. He has waxed braided nylon thread in .8mm and 1mm, the Tiger thread has a little more wax and is available in more colors but that's about the only differences I've found. You can buy larger spools from Maker's also so that's a plus for me, I hate the small spools of Tiger thread Amazon sells. I buy black and white from Maker's and then go Ritza if I need color. Atom wax is pretty good stuff too, much easier to deal with than Resolene or Tan Coat. I use all 3 but for different purposes. The cartridge loop billets look great, should be a great looking belt when it's done.

Heard you mention the Atom wax a while back so for this application I wanted to try it. Figured it would be more flexible than Resolene.

You are correct the tiger thread was pricey that spool is 500 meters and was about 36 bucks and took for ever to get here. I'll check out Makers leather supply thanks for the link! I'm going to need something beside brown like you mentioned maybe some white.

This gun belt venture has been the most difficult so far for me. Measuring my fat ass and getting it right on the belt wasn't easy for a simple minded guy like me. Lack of planning is my strong point lol!
