That liner for someone's safe queen bbq bike trip gun is a very cool idea. Currently the wife is the only one who has such a gun but you never know what I might buy.

I hope it works out I'm going to use contact cement and then I'll have to sew the edge around the flap that keeps the hammer from digging in.

Very nice Hawg, keep posting your progress. That Kimber looks to be about the same size as my Springfield EMP.

Well I did a little research and the deer hide is probably chrome tanned so can't use that because of the salts in it. Plan B is I may have a fairly thin piece of veg tan.

Look for some 2-3oz stuff, I have some here that I use for wallets, try Springfield they sell by the square foot and will skive down whatever you need. When you line stitch the top and bottom of both pieces (where they're not going to be glued together) prior to assembly if you're really careful with lining everything up you can make it look like one continuous stitch by starting and stopping your stitch lines in the same holes. I usually line up my pieces and then punch my start and stop holes then use needles through those holes during glue up. Lined holsters can be a serious pain in the ass but they're worth it
