Thinking about joining this range ?

Memberships are a wee-bit cheaper for whats offered else wear --- hand gun rentals are about the same as others ( have to buy their ammo - cant use you're own ) --- nicer then sweating in the hot sun / not closed if raining / no freezing my ass-off / 6 months at a time in case I'm not happy --

The question is --- how does it compare to your local indoor ranges ?

Closest indoor range is 50 + miles away. If it's cold, I just open up the barn window and shoot

Only indoor ranges that are local for me are limited to 25 or 30 feet. Fine for handgun practice, but not much else (other than one, which has rentals). Most of the time, I'm going to the outdoor ranges with long guns anyway.

The very few private clubs here on crap island are very expensive to join & ya-gots to have a sponsor -

The good thing would be -- ya-get a pass code so if I wanted to shoot at 3:AM - I could --

I shoot at RubberDucks farm deer camp. Sometimes for sight in I go to a DNR outdoor range if I can't get to deer camp.

I don't use an indoor range, I belong to a local gun club. My membership dues are $75/year and I go whenever I feel like it. Range is only closed when the club has an event or local PD is training. Also closed during deer season since members hunt the club property. All that said there is a local indoor range and this is their fee schedule for walk-ins:

    Daily Range fees ( Non-Member Walk-in):

    $15.00/ hr + Range Ammunition Mon-Thurs
    $17.50/ hr + Range Ammunition Fri/Sat/Sun

    2nd Shooter in stall

    $10/hr Mon-Thurs, $12.50/hr Fri/Sat/Sun

    Rentals

    Pistol $15/hr + Range Ammunition
    Rifle $17.50/hr + Range Ammunition

*Shotgun (slugs only) add $10/hr range fee

    Must purchase range ammo

Memberships range from $25/month with limited access to $2500 for lifetime. An annual unlimited membership is $399
