    Plinking Rounds

Picked up 825 rounds of federal for taking a couple of my nieces target shooting in a couple of weeks I paid 42 for it so about .05 cents a shot, which isn’t too bad overall I thought. What is everyone else paying for 22lr right now?

I saw this when I went in to the local gun shop to order the Armscor 1911 framed 22 Mag pistol I have been wanting one for a couple of years now and finally decided to go do it. When it comes in I will add pics and let you know how it handles.

I don't even know what .22 goes for these days... I have enough stored to fill a battleship LOL. I used to buy bricks every time I went in, back when they went on sale for $12.99.

Yeah I try not to compare what I pay now to what I “used to pay” “way back when” it usually just makes me feel bad.

Yeah 21 years of the Army I didn’t buy a whole lot of guns or ammo because you couldn’t haul it around or want to leave it behind in your house while gone.

The last .22 I bought was some shit Federal. I think I paid around $60 per pail of 1300 rounds.

Which if my math is right puts it about 4.6 cents a round so not too much less than what I paid. I can say this was the first 22 lr I have bought in about 2 years so I have not kept track of prices.

I still have a few .50 cal ammo cans filled with .22lr (500 round bricks) that I paid $8.99 for!

I usually buy when it's on sale but haven't been buying it for awhile. I'll pay for that this summer I'm sure when the boys are ripping through what I have on hand. Think the last stuff I bought was right around $20 for 525 but I could be wrong on that, it's been awhile.
