Now its back and it is a pain in the ass! Sipping some Bourbon as I type this and waiting on my next round of anti-biotics at 10 pm tonight!
I have diabetes and have had cellulitis in my right leg several times. I have a wound on the big toe on my right foot, I have been seeing a wound specialist for going on 2 years now. The wound is on the same leg that I had a total knee replacement 2+ years ago. The doctor had the same worries about an infection going into the bone. It's still not completely healed after all this time. Diabetes slows the healing process down to a snail's pace. Getting old sucks buddy.

WHAT!?!?!, I said, I thought obama-care solved this? The lady on the phone did not see the humor nor the relevence of my comment she just repeated they can set me up for next week.

So I asked her if I showed up with a pocket full of cash, would the doc who does not accept CIGNA PPO take cash? She said they cannot take cash.

    WHAT!?!?! I said, Why not?

She then told me they were not set up to take cash. She repeated my appointment was next week and thanked me and hung up.

    WE ARE SO PHUCKED!
Cannot take cash?!?! Who the hell doesn't want cash?!?

Apparently this "wound care" doctor's office! Of course, the female on the phone setting up the appointments was named Lakysha and didn't possess the quickest of wit. For all I know, she has no idea that cash exists?

I have no idea why this doctor's office has a No-Cash Policy. Is it the ignorance of Lakysha? Or is it simply the fact that these docs really work for the insurance companies or the federal government in the form of obama-care? I don't know, but I do aim to get to the bottom of it...

    Stay tuned....

They don't do cash because its a problem to deposit it.
Also, Insurance is the biggest FUHQING scam out there.
DR- Charge you 1000.00 for procedure x.
Insurance says, no we pay 400. for procedure X.
DR- Oh ok, 400. But we charge you three times, when your not looking.
    Insurance- OK we saved money.
You will never be forgotten. RIP Corporal Bradley Coy (USMC)

The no-cash policy is due in part to theft of the cash, by the women who work at the desk/register.
Now Lakysha may not have stolen any, but it is common for chicks to lift money from the register, that they are on.

PS: women can be merciless in some things, and stealing money is one of them.
