Let's see, a person can contract west nile virus, malaria and other diseases from mosquito bites, but NOT the "Aids" virus. Hmmmm, interesting how that works.

Never heard of humans getting infected by Equine Encephalitis. Considering how thick the hide of a horse is, I can't imagine a skeeter being able bite/sting anything after biting a horse!

Believe it. There have been 2 deaths from EEE. In my state this year. DOT is putting EEE PSA's on their traffic advisory signs.

Why are we going to spray anyway? Frost is coming soon and skeeters gone for this year!

Aerial spraying for mosquito-borne illness canceled in most counties due to weather

Update: All aerial mosquito spraying planned for Sunday, Sept. 29, has been canceled due to inclement weather, according to a Michigan Department of Health and Human Services news release sent just after 8 p.m, when the spraying was scheduled to begin.

Despite assurances, aerial mosquito spraying plan leaves some concerned
KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI -- Safety assurances from public health leaders about Sunday’s planned aerial mosquito spraying -- in parts of 14 Michigan counties -- has not calmed everyone’s fears.
