Ever use a tick stick in woodworking?

I know Inor is a wood worker as am I so this maybe only interesting to the two of us. But if you do any kind of building this could be useful. You cant buy a tick stick but you can make one out of scrap wood.

Not sure if this is a guy or a girl but put that aside and learn something new.

    Nice hack.

As a Wood PatternMaker I would just cut the cardboard shy with my Wiss shears and use masking tape for the outline.
