The start of my new workbench. Ran out of time for today. I'll post more pics as it progresses for anyone interested.

Looks really nice! Is that MDF for a top, or finish plywood?

Good start! The only suggestion I can offer is to double up the thickness of the top. I think you will find a 3/4 inch top still has too much flex for doing much chisel work.
I built this one about 10 years ago. It is not my main workbench. I call it my saw cabinet. Mostly it is filled with blades and misc jigs and stuff for my table saw. In the bottom part, I keep jigsaws and circular saws. On the top, I mounted my bench grinder on one end and my mortising machine on the other.

I'm doing the same. The one in the pic is for fine work or cleaning the guns.
I'm going to build a beast that rolls so I can pull it out into the driveway when I work. Might do a butcher block type top for that one. Also toying with the idea of making with a flip top for a mounted saw.

VERY cool!
Also, consider a vice like this.

I did not discover these vices until after I had built my main workbench. I am sure they existed, but I just did not know about them. But I would have definitely incorporated this badass mamba-jamba had I known!

I have a love/hate relationship with Rockler. They have a lot of cool stuff, but they are damn expensive. Check out these guys for better prices on hardware.

They supplied all of the cabinet hardware for M.T. Acres and all of the hardware for the kitchen cabinets in our Minnesota house. They are a great company to deal with.

Knute my boy,
One of my Barn Tables/Workbenchs that I built from lumber in my boneyard. The sumbitch weighs well over 200 LBs.

My shop workbench that I built. Wish I had more electrical outlets and lights. Don't skimp on electrical outlets or lights

Know this and know it well...any size workbench you build you will quickly grow out of and wish you had built a larger one. Also, if you allow your workbench to go unattended for a couple of weeks or a month or so, it will begin to produce and reproduce multiple pieces of junk!
