    Cutting through my yard.....

So I got home fro. A big family gathering and meal, put the dogs out and feed them. They bring a toy for me to throw for them while I am giving them attention, all of a sudden the brittany starts going crazy running from the front window to the porch doors. The lab joins him so I get up to see which rabbit is sitting in the middle of their yard because it is too late for the turkeys or the grouse to be out.
I look around and see nothing at first then I see movement from the back corner of my porch the one of my big balsam firs, there stands a red fox sniffing where Duke likes to mark his turf. The dogs bark he cocks his head and seems to meet my eyes then turns and scoots along the woods on the back of my yard through the barbed wire and I to my neighbors woods.
I always love seeing the wildlife, also is nice to know nothing comes through without them knowing.

I will try to get a pic next time.

My wife just loves to see a Red Fox. Once we saw a BIG old tomcat chasing a Red Fox, the cat turned the tables on the young fox it seemed. He wasn't going to be an easy meal.

Not the fox but that is part of the most recent flock about 40 that appeared this spring.

    Nice!!
There's a flock of around 20 up here pretty much year round.
My little dog likes eating their poop; it's a nice break from only having kit-cat bars.

Right before coming back in to give you lots of sloppy kisses!
