    cement mixing bin for plants

    I have a few unused cement mixing bin and wondering if its ok to plant garlic bulbs?
    its 6 inches deep.
    if the garlic wont work can roma tomatoes or cayenne pepper be ok?
    I know I can do herbs but like to see if I have other options

    Garlic should be ok but it does better when planted in the fall. I doubt they would be deep enough for tomatoes for peppers. I have used them for lettuce and now have spring onions in mine.

    Put 1 large bin on bottom, 2 large bins on top at an angle. I used Milk crates.

    Put fertilizer solution in bottom bin with an aguarium pump and hoses.

    Fill top bins with washed pea pebble, plant your favorite veggie and you have entered hydroponics.

    I agree with my co- Buckeye buddy. Not deep enough for tomatoes or peppers. Can use for lettuce. I'm about to plant my lettuce in my lettuce cart. Late for it here, but I'll keep it in the shade.
    Got some of our tomato plants yesterday.
