I guess when it comes down to losing that weekly check and perhaps your pension, ordinarily good and honest cops think about their and their families future. That's when they go along to get along. I don't trust any cops anymore.

I've said this countless times on other forums. Maybe here too.

I may be willing to suffer the consequences of patriotism, but am I willing to make my family suffer for my patriotism?

A tough decision that most of us will have to be prepared to make someday. And I believe that day may be soon
I fear the nation I loved may be gone. The best I hope for now is to die with honor in the coming civil war, and that my grandchildren be spared the pain of a tyrannical government.

    As did our forefathers.

Very correct. They were willing to make sacrifices that I dont see many willing to make these days.

But I am impressed with the number of people standing up to the governors. I just wonder if they'll fold when push comes to shove and projectiles are exchanged.

I'm guessing they will fold. But the revolutionary war was started by only a few if I remember correctly not many wanted to stand against the crown.

I think it will take a Lexington/Concord event to set off the powder keg. But I also believe if the media has anything to do with it, it will only take video of one small group folding for them to make it look like thousands are being defeated by the government powers in an effort to demoralize and deter other would be insurrectionists.

And make no mistake, anyone defending the Constitution against an overreaching government will be labeled as such.

You don't know until you're faced with it. I had to refuse an illegal order twice and that is close, because if I was wrong I was going to prison and my family wasn't getting any support from me.
"Every person’s life is theirs by right. An individual’s life can and must belong only to himself, not to any society or community, or he is then but a slave. No one can deny another person their right to their life, nor seize by force what is produced by someone else, because that is stealing their means to sustain their life. It is treason against mankind to hold a knife to a man’s throat and dictate how he must live his life."
