    Nothing fancy tonight. Just some good old fashion stick to your ribs homemade chicken and noodles with mashed potatoes and some fresh baked bread with strawberry jam. Thought today was going to be our first snowfall and coldest night so far but it looks like we miss on the snow.

    made homemade italian bread and BBQ pork sandwiches
    served with homemade onion sour onion relish/ mayo sauce

    wanted to be different today and surprise my wife when she wakes up before heading to work

    and yes, I get my gamby wamby points for the week

    You guys are ROCKIN IT with the homemade bread!
    So I ran across a recipe on Pintrist last nite and decided to try it, with a wee tweek. I added Jalapeno. This is Tater Puffs, made in a cupcake tin. You make mashed taters, put in egg, onion, bacon, cheese, garlic, salt, pepper, and in my case chopped up jalapeno. Bake for 25 min's at 425. ( I also added about 2 Tbs of rice flour to firm it up) Serve with sour cream. Very filling!

    MMM, Baglady. Kinda like the potato pancakes my grandpa would make on the skillet.
    All leftovers went in them. Mostly mashed potatoes. I can never get mine the consistency he did..

    Yep, just like that. Mine were always hit or miss too.
    Do you put a little flour in them? I used rice flour, but you can use all purpose flour. Just a TBLS or 2 depending on how much you have in the bowl.

    I hear marinate a steak in pineapple and the enzymes break it down. Supposedly no pineapple taste left over so we shall see. Its been brewing about 3 + hours in the fridge.
