Differences youíll notice at Michiganís state park campgrounds when they reopen June

Ron Olson, the DNRís chief of parks and recreation, said visitors will ďdefinitely see some adjustments,Ē though many of the modifications are slight and should already be familiar to most people at this point in 2020.

For starters, in compliance with current health guidelines, campers are asked to wear masks in public indoor spaces, including restrooms, camp stores and camp offices. Campers will see some park staff wearing personal protective equipment as well, especially in high-traffic indoor spaces like registration stations.
