The ones that were new in package were best by OCT 2018.
I always check the dates before buying, so these have been around awhile.

I alweays keep extra batteries (CR123) in my GHB and my gun safe for my good flashlights. Also, my AR15 buttstock has compartments to store extra batteries for my weapon light and EOTec red dot.

Twice a year I do maintenance on everything.... BOB, GHBs, charge all batteries, replace consumables like food & medications.
