Here behind enemy lines in New Jersey Lite AKA Illinois it looks like there might be a fumble in progress. Dems have the gov seat and a super majority in both chambers and two days to go in the lame duck session before all bills die. Based on the news, official chamber agendas, etc. if appears that they are so consumed with fighting over Mike Madigan's speaker of the house seat and the extra super jumbo destroy the police/justice system bill that they have lost track of the the jumbo gun control bill they are one step away from dragging across the finish line.

Granted it won't be hard for them to copy/paste that bill and go again, but it does mean they will have to wait until at least April-ish and probably later with budget business.

It is the preface to enable buybacks and confiscation.
