See this all the time. People build or buy big horsepower engines and then couple them to a system that cannot handle the strain in the long run. Theme for the day is "stupid is as stupid does".

Yeah, guy at work has what he says is a 750hp Mustang, with nowhere near enough tire to get all that power to the ground.

My 68 RS/SS has a 12 bolt, Muncie, and 11" clutch. Pushed with a 370/350 LT1 vette motor I stripped to bare block , bored, decked, all new insides......

That was my first car in HS. Came from Oceanside Cali w/o rot, but had hard life, only 90,000 miles. I paid $600 and rebuilt it. It's in the barn. Needs finishing
