Glad to have been able to lend you a ear…..lol
Rock on bro. All kidding aside, for a single string and a slide that little muther jams.

Thanks! Pretty impressive build for a Trucker and a Boiler Operator lol.

The next few we build will better fit and quality. RubberDuck has a nice Jack Daniels tin that will need some better wood for the neck. Prolly go with a round shovel handle or the like on that one.

What are you using for a pick-up and where did you mount it.
Might consider a neck you could bend a little. Kinda get that whammy bar effect going.
Post more vids when you get that sucker figured out.

RubberDuck ordered some pretty inexpensive tuning keys and this stick on pickup. Mounted it inside the can on the lid.

    Heres the pickup.

Pretty cool build, Hawg!! Now, lets hear a whole song played out. I wonder if you could tune lower and really get a blues sound out of it?

It's a E string so I tightened up a step and a half to G at the moment. I'll have to try it back at E and see what it does.

Silly me knew that progression was familiar but I just hadn't been able to place why it was familiar until bof of frogs mentioned it. Duh! Lol!

First attempt at pluckin this thing lol

Pretty damn cool Hawg. A star is born! I can see it now, lights, women, booze, money! All the trappings of fame. Ohhh, you might not be as famous as those two fellers Denton and Sasquatch, but you you'll be up there with the Kardashions I reckon.

Shit man, if you got G all you need is C and D and you can play every AC/DC song ever written.
