Cost Of LPG Is Going Up, Up, Up. Going Electric As Much As Possible

    Shattered. shattered, puff a doobie.

I had the vinyl with all the pics.

I'll try to live like I did during the summers on my boat. Electric fry pan, microwave, hotplate, broiler oven, electric heater and BBQ.

Ya, it got damp in the cabin being in the water, so the heat dried it out.

It's going to be $300 or more a month for winter heat again like the late 90's,early 2000's.

Last week, the average US price (Feb 2022) for LPG was $2.83/gallon.

Excellent move BB! I waited too long and paid more in the fall.

Three words of advice for you my friend: you'll be sorry.

Just as soon as the gubment gets enough of the folks of this planet on electric . . . they will finally have the control they want.

They can dictate how hot your living space can be in summer or winter . . . and by monitoring it with a link to their charts . . . they'll just cut you off when you use too much . . .

You will be totally under their permissive thumb . . . will have no say in the matter . . . and can drop dead if you don't like it.

When you get cut off that first time . . . you will be angry . . . but when your freezer full of food goes bad . . . and you have to walk to the grocery every morning for the quart of milk your kids need . . . (your electric car won't charge cause you don't got no juice) . . . and you have to ride the electric trolly to work . . . that is when you will really get a case of the jaws.

Your dirty clothes will pile up . . . you'll take all cold showers . . . and the 5th day of PBJ for dinner . . . won't be as much fun as the first one.

    Yeah . . . go all electric.

    May God bless,
    Dwight
If you can breathe, . . . thank God.

If you can read, . . . thank a teacher.

If you can read in English, . . . thank a veteran.

    Agree 100% Pastor D!

For us, diversification is key. I'm heavily invested in LPG, Diesel, Gasoline, Electricity, Wood (20+ Acres mainly hardwood) and (and one day, Good Lord Willing) Solar!

I'm talking using a space heater and turning down the gas furnace. I have electric fry pans. Hot water and dryer are LPG.

I'm just going electric as much as I can easily. It sure feels nice sitting in a base layer in front of the heater .

Glad to say we aint had natural gas in fifty years..and dont miss it at all. Not to change the subject rapidly but if anybody eats butter, limes or avacados from mexico best try to stock some...cause the price is headed up up up. The drug cartels are controlling the fruit..and not sure whats up with the butter..but the boy in the wholesale food bidness said its jumped fifty bucks a case.

I buy a box of food a day, and volunteer at a food bank. I can get food there, but I don't need it at the moment.

We got a load of bad propane last summer when we filled up. It created so much soot in the water heater and furnace, they quit working until we cleaned them out. I am not exaggerating when I say there was over 1/2 inch of soot inside the chimney pipe! I had to take the water heater all apart to clean the jets to even get it working again. And all that was after a month of trying to figure out what was going on in the first place.

Propane is not my friend right now!
