    They don't see well, scare one and it'll smack right into the nearest tree. They do eat grubs but do more damage to the yard than the grubs do. The holes they dig and the fact that they carry leprosy is why I shoot em every chance I get. Hollow points or soft points expand nicely when they hit the shell and make a big hole as they pass through.

    Shooting them can be fun, sometimes they jump up when shot.

    Armadillos were all over S. Alabama when I was a kid, and we saw them moving north and east over the years but it seems like their migration has been halted somewhat over the past couple of years.

    Nasty little bastards and no reason to keep them alive on your property.

    Rubber ones are fun to mess with others but real ones need dead.
