    Alice Pack Improvement

Replaced the Frame, Harness and Waist Belt on my Alice Pack with A USMC FILBE Frame, Harness and Waist belt, If your using an Alice Pack this improvement is worth every penny about a 100.00. All I can says is wow this is way more comfortable. Oh Included the Catch of the Day some Sea Trout and Redfish caught at the Chandelier Islands.Click image for larger version.

Me as well. I like the Alice pack and hate the frame. That little shelf that comes with it is useless for a sleeping bag. Hooked my Alice up to an adjustable aluminum elk hunting frame. Super light, rides right, no pressure on the back. And has a proper fold down shelf on the bottom.

I gave my A.L.I.C.E. away to a caregivers son, along with a snug Ice fishing suit. Suit is big on me now..

I have MOLLE II packs in DSC, OCP, and woodland

The 11 yo step grandson has claimed ALL my DSC gear though.

We had a yard sale here about a month ago at the house.

Made about 600 bucks . . . sold off a lot of stuff I just did not use.

My alice pack and frame were two that went out the driveway . . . and I almost . . . sort of . . . had second thoughts.

Then I remembered why I have not used it in decades . . . and did not shed one tear . . .

    May God bless,
    Dwight

Or a 30 cal. ammunition can for the Pig.

Had an issued Alice, woodland, never had to hump it anywhere.

It would get thrown into the bustle on the back of the turret.

    Also a PRC25 or 77 fits well.

I have 6 PRC-77s, but I am not humping them anywhere.
